International doctoral student

Since some time ago, we have in ARGET an international PHD student, Marni Manegre. She's an educator and instructor. Her thesis is about online learning and ICT in education. She is graduated in science and linguistics at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. During her professional career, she has held positions as assistant psychologist at the University of Alberta and as a researcher and project director with the psychology department of the University of Athabasca.

At present, Ms. Manegre is analyzing the use of English as a foreign language in high school students through a knowledge forum. This action is part of the international project COMMconeixement (KBIP). The main objective of the action is to know if collaborative learning environments facilitate the learning of foreign languages and linguistic production.
