OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF THE CIVICAI ASSOCIATION
On March 23rd, 2023, CivicAi was officially presented, a Catalan association for artificial intelligence for everyone and everyone. Among the 200 intellectuals, professionals, and experts who have participated in the process of its creation, is Mercè Gisbert from the ARGET research group of the Rovira & Virgili University.
In a constantly and rapidly evolving society, artificial intelligence plays an increasing role in the lives of citizens. For this reason, CivicAi was born: to respond to the risks of artificial intelligence, to face the impact and to involve citizens in its regulation and development.
