An Investigation of the Social and Academic Uses of Digital Technology by University Students

This research presents us a different perspective about what the URV student think about the use of digital technologies with an academic and social finality, and how do they feel about the "digital native" phenomenon. The main aim of this study is to understand how college students use digital technologies and which are the implications of its use in the college education. In order to approach to this aim, the researcher adopted an interpretative approach and developed a mixed methods research strategy. The main used data collection techniques were the integrative review of the literature, the online questionnaires and the semi-structured interviews.
